Aim GPS09>MXG Strada>GTRlink

Hi, 

Complete amateur here.

I am trying to use the GPS speed reading from the AiM gps09 module via a Strada MXG 1.2 to give speed input to the ecu. 

I have the GPS speed displayed on the dash but can not work out how to transmit to the G4X/receive from strada via can bus. 

I am using CAN2 port with a 'F' connector. I currently have

Channel 1- transmit to dash

Channel 2- Can lambda (haltech wb1) 

I have the latest firmware/software.

Attach your dash and ECU config and I can set it up.  You have to set up a CAN output in RS3 and in the ECU a matching CAN recieve.

I had a look at the CAN output tab, but can not understand the language unfortunately!

Try this.  The ECU should receive the speed as LF and RF wheel speed.  Try a short drive comparing ecu speed to dash speed as I may have the scaling wrong, the Aim software suggests the GPS speed will be transmitted as MPH which seems odd, I have scalled for that but Im not convinced it does actually do that.

Adam, thank you very much for that. Unfortunately I can't get the car started but what you have done is good, I can adjust it from there if needed.
