Matt257
Got my g4x plug in for my 2006 sti and I am having trouble getting the TPS calibrated. I have e-throttle in set up mode and all aux inputs correct. When I go to calibrate the TPS I get an error for no movement, any ideas? Adamw
Can you attach the tune and a log of the TPS calibration attempt.
Matt257
here is a log and the map as it currently is tps calibration log.llgx tps calibration map.pclx On 9/3/2021 at 5:18 PM, Adamw said: Can you attach the tune and a log of the TPS calibration attempt. tps calibration log.llgx tps calibration map.pclx
Adamw
So is this a factory E-throttle car? It appears there is something wrong with the TPS main signal. It is sitting at 0.0-0.01V all the time, you can see when the ECU sends power to the motor the TPS sub sensor shows movement, but the TPS main doesnt. In our Subaru test car the TPS main voltage doesnt go below 0.58V, so something seems wrong there. I would start by checking is there is a more normal voltage at the TPS main pin at the throttle body. Pic below showing how you can check this, im using a proper acupuncture probe but you can use a sewing pin or similar poked down beside the wire. TPS main is the top wire. Ground probe is just clipped onto the engine.

If I get no voltage or below 0.58v would that indicate a short or bad wire? Or bad TPS
Adamw
If there is no voltage at the pin on the throttle it would suggest the throttle sensor is dead. If there is voltage at that pin then it means the fault is further downstream, so we would probably then check voltage at the ecu end.
