I also have the can Lambda for the O2 sensor that i need to connect to the Dash but i am not sure how to and what wires need to go the dash from the lambda. Adamw
A CAN bus is meant to be a main "trunk" with a resistor at each end and the various devices branching of it something like this: The ECU and dash have resistors built in, so generally it is good to leverage that and have those two devices at each end then the other devices branching off. So something like this: An alternative option if you want the lambda at the far end is to turn the resistor off in the dash and add your own resistor at the lambda plug, something like this:
jesses1961
Thanks for your help Andrew, so with this first example on device A would i be able to add a fuel pressure sensor and on device B a oil pressure sensor. Thanks Jesse
Adamw
If you had pressure sensors that transmit CAN data you could, but they are not common.
