ScottSopko320
I am currently looking to swapping a evo 8 G4+ into my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse gsx. I can’t find any information that this will work. I see that there is a evo 3 G4+ available. My car shares a ton of the evo 1-3 components as it was based off of that platform but sold in the US exclusively from 89-99. I really want to be a link ecu for the future, I just do not know which ecu would be better for my application. Any help would be great. Adamw
Have you got a pinout for your factory ecu?

Adamw
Can you share it somehow, I will then confirm which EVO ecu it matches best. ScottSopko320
ScottSopko320
I will when I get back home, I'm on my phone and don't have the information. I will scour some forums to try to find a usable one in the meantime.
Adamw
It looks like a good match for our Evo 4-8 ecu. The only thing I see that is different is pin 16 "Boost Meter", the Evo's dont have a boost meter so this isnt going to work. Assuming your car is a manual trans it should be good.
