Aluminius
Good day! Can anyone tell me what can be wrong :?: . My ECU (mini cooper direct plugin v88) disconnects from notebook at 6500-7000 rpm. If I rev it momentary (second gear) it works fine till redline (8200) but if it has to work longer on high RPM it loses connection. p.s. I check the grounding of the ecu and it seems to be fine. Thanx Peter
Stimmer
Got the same problem, tried another laptop, seemed better, but sometimes the problem is still there. And not only Mini plugin, I got this problem with STI plugin, but very very seldom. With latest firmware no problems with STI at all. bsh
Are you using sparkplugs with resistor?
Aluminius
Newest software downloaded but it doesn't help :-(, Now I use denso IK27. No resistors as far as I know! mmm, but my nology wires should have capacitors I think. That could make some difference?
Simon
I would get some resistive plugs in there. Once tuned you can swap back.
