Switching multi-boost table by DI and CAN DI

I have been using a rotary switch of non-short to switch the multi-boost table. DI7on, DI8 off for table2. DI8on, DI7off for table3.
Now I want to set up a scramble boost that be controled by CAN so I want to use DI7 for table 2 and CAN DI5 for table 3.
In this case, move from table2 to table3. Both DI7 and CAN DI5 will be active at the same time, but table 3 seems to have priority.
Is this behavior correct? Also, does it interfere with the circuit if they are active at the same time like this?
