Jacky Fung
Dear Mate, I have a project for my S2000 AP1 in UK. Since I have a G4+ Civic 98 Plug in on hand and I would like to making a harness and use to my S2K. Most of the input / output I can manage. There are few question about the convertion. 1. CAM B sensor. As I know in G4X S2K Plugin, it use DI1 as input of Cam B Sensor. - May I know what is the purpose of this input? - Can I just ignore it? - If I need the to connect it, how to handle the Cam B Ground? to +5V Ground or +12V Ground? 2. Speed Sensor I was have another project few years ago, I cannot get a correct vehicle speed from the speed sensor since the frequency is too high for Monsoon G4+. I need to use a IC to divide the sensor signal, Do I need to do it the same in G4+ Plugin ECU? And do I still need to output a speed signal to the cluster? 3. Temperature Gauge As I know, the ECU need to output signal to the cluster for Temperature. I can setup a GP PWM output, but I cannot setup for Hz of the frequency. Is it possible to setup this? Thanks for your help!
Adamw
Exhaust cam sensor is not needed or used. The G4+ plugin has the same DI frequency limitation. You can use this method: The G4+ cant drive the S2000 temp gauge, 10Hz is the minimum.
Jacky Fung
Hi Adam, Thanks for your prompt reply, really appreciate! For the speed sensor, will G4x can solve the frequency limitation? Thanks. Jacky
Adamw
Yes G4X DI's can do at least 10KHz.
