i88 GP output problem

Hi

We have an electric water pump wired to one of the aux channels through a relay. Only condition for operating is ECT >60 degrees of Celsius.

Problem is that every time the ecu is turned on water pump starts running for a few seconds and then stops even if ECT is below 60 degrees. When ECT is above 60 degrees water pump stays on as it is supposed.

This is not a major problem with water pump, but the behavior is similar with all other GP outputs. ie. all gp outputs are grounded for a few seconds after ecu is turned on, no matter how the conditions are set.

Any ideas what might cause this?
