mr2magic
Hello to all Vipec gurus! I'm completely new to the game of standalones but not to automobile wiring (at least for 90's era vehicles). That being said, while in the process of wiring in my i44 i notice there is no constant 12V power supply, only a ignition switched 12V. Just for giggles: how is the data written to the i44? Is there an eeprom or flash ram or....? I only ask becuase the toyota ecu for my 3sgte has two dedicated constant 12V inputs that may not be required anymore Thanks in advance Mark
Simon
The tune is stored in non-volatile memory. No need for a constant power supply.
