Steve1436215419 Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 ... would be nice. The way its now against ECT is also good but would be better to have the ability to span it against oil temp .. Quote
ashesman Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 You can set up the GP limits to work off any parameter you would like. Eg, you could even set up a GP limit to work on a 3d table spanned by oil pressure and oil temp to create a safe operating range... Quote
Steve1436215419 Posted June 27, 2010 Author Report Posted June 27, 2010 Yes you could. If you didnt use up the 2 GP limits on other things allready. Quote
Jurgen Biggelaar Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Steve, please tell me what you are trying to do. There may be another way to do this. I have two ideas, but are highly dependant on what you have in place and what you are trying to achieve. I take it this is a G4? Jurgen Quote
Steve1436215419 Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Yes its a G4 xtreme. (Wire in) Simple really. The main rpm and map limits in the ecu are based on ECT. Wich i said is nice. But as oil heats up slower than coolant it would be nice (vice) to base it on oiltemp instead. Quote
Phil Williams Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Hi Steve, Sorry about the delayed reply. I have added your request into our internal feature request system. One thing you may be able to do is share a GP limit table for two limiting parameters. For example Oil pressure on the X, Oil temp on the Y, the limit will be a combination of the two parameters. Hope this helps, Regards, Phil Quote
