Crank, No start

Very strange.   Replaced Clutch slave cylinder.   Now the car will crank but not start.   Can not connect to ECU with laptop either.   Car ran fine before clutch work.  We did not touch any wiring.     Need help to troubleshoot.   How do you know that the LINK ECU is getting power?

We sprayed starter fluid in intake and it sputtered.   I do not think that the computer is telling the injectors to fire.   It is like when the EWS system is blocking start up but, the wire for EWS was cut a long time ago.   Ideas?
