craig903
Hi all, I have managed to get my car running and so I am just starting the first basic adjustments. I have it idling however I am getting the warning message about the fuel being clamped to the min effective pulse width. I have ran the car for a few thousand miles on a different ecu and the engine usually idles around 35kpa around a 1.90-2ms PW(including DT). Fuel pressure at 3bar although 315kpa is what the new sensor reads. 2.0Ltr 4 cylinder I'm using 550cc Bosch EV14 injectors part number 0280 158 279 and the only data I can find is from ford which they seem to match the M-9593-LU47. Would anyone have any correct injector data for the G4X injector drives and also is it normal to keep seeing the warning about fuel being clamped to minimum? These aren't particularly big injectors. I have attached my most recent map and the datasheet for the injectors, would anyone be able to run there eye's over the dead time and fuel figures please to see if I have made any obvious mistakes? Thanks ( PS I'm setting up using the modelled fuel equation) Fury-306-map.pclx m-9593-lu47.pdf
Adamw
This means the calculated injector PW is less than what you have specified as the minimum effective PW, so the ecu is clamping it at the minimum. You can reduce the min effective PW setting, I would expect those injectors should control reasonably repeatably down to about 0.4ms effective.
