Fred Posted August 11, 2013 Report Posted August 11, 2013 Hi, I'm looking to do some experiments with an Atom G4 unit and would like to know the TE connectivity part number of either the PCB header or the loom plug, or both. You may email me this information if you'd prefer to not post it publicly. If I don't get a response, I'll figure it out myself and post the details here. Thanks in advance, Fred. Quote
Fred Posted August 11, 2013 Author Report Posted August 11, 2013 Apologies, you state that it's AMP branded, not TE, in your article here: http://www.linkecu.com/products/engine-management/Wire-In/g4wireinfolder/stormg4enhancements Which series/brand/part number are they? And which key option? Fred. Quote
Simon Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Hi Fred I can confirm they are AMP connectors. I don't have access to their part numbers however can happily supply you them as required. Quote
Fred Posted August 12, 2013 Author Report Posted August 12, 2013 OK, thanks for confirming, Simon! I've got some high-resolution photos of them coming anyway, so I'll figure it out from those and let you know here, just in case you need to order some more because you can't find the part numbers buried under some of that rubble Cheers! Fred Posted August 25, 2013 Author Report Posted August 25, 2013 Got them! Just in case you run out of stock, you can pick up some more from TE or a reseller with these part numbers: Key ID 1 Plug for loom: 3-1437290-7 (AMP 3900113-2621) http://www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/3-1437290-7?RQPN=3900113-2621 Inline header: 6437288-6Â http://www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/6437288-6?RQPN=6437288-6 TE doesn't appear to stock a correctly keyed right angle PCB header, but I don't need that anyway. The plug also needs the pins, and an appropriate tool, of course. Fred. Quote
