CANTEE question

ECUs are lifetime warranty so not sure why you would have to change to different ecu.  Even then, if you had a ST205X bottom board to match your pinout, why not simply swap the top board from the 185x and not have to rewire?

The 240ohm pull-up will be fine and will give a better voltage range than the "X9" pull-up rule that AiM quote

Finally got around to adding the earth.

I'm using the channel set as follows..

With a custom sensor to display the mV for me on the dash itself.

0 Litres     1900mV

5 Litres     2030mV

10 Litres    1600mV

15 Litres     810mV        - gave car a shake, mV fluctuates wildly

20 Litres    1460mV

25 litres     1800mV

Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

Ben.

Looking at other owners experiences I can pretty safely assume the sender is bad, being 32 years old and after 5 years sitting on an empty tank..

The sender is actually accessible below the stereo so I will pull it out.

For any other MR2 owners looking the sender can be replaced with...

83320-35120 For Toyota Hilux

I managed to find a new one for £19!

Although this doesn't come with the low level sensor.

At least now I can have a play before it goes in.

I'll post my results for anyone who's interested.

Thank you.
