Even then, if you had a ST205X bottom board to match your pinout, why not simply swap the top board from the 185x and not have to rewire? BenAmr2turbo Posted August 20 Author Report Share Posted August 20 Looking at other owners experiences I can pretty safely assume the sender is bad, being 32 years old and after 5 years sitting on an empty tank.. The sender is actually accessible below the stereo so I will pull it out. For any other MR2 owners looking the sender can be replaced with... 83320-35120 For Toyota Hilux I managed to find a new one for £19! Although this doesn't come with the low level sensor.
