samfenna Posted December 1, 2023 Report Share Posted December 1, 2023 having issues sub 20degc with the cold start on my 1jz vvti. have increased cold start enrichments to approx 13.0 afr, logs showing iacv is 100% open, idle ignition control is working, but unable to pull up the rpms from 750ish rpm to the target 1100. have tried with and without idle ignition control to rule that out. base positions set in open loop prior to closed loop setting over 20degrees car starts and hits rpm targets almost instantly. have attached logs and map, im leaning towards a stuck icv on until warm, car is running stock 1j 6 wire stepper any ideas? thanks COLD START LOG.llgx hard cut current.pclx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adamw Posted December 2, 2023 Report Share Posted December 2, 2023 Try changing the stepper motor steps to 220, store, then shut ecu off for 10 sec before restarting, see if that allows higher RPM to be achieved, if not then you will have to adjust the throttle stop to allow more air in.
