13b Hall sensor wiring

Running a link monsoon with a flying lead harness. I’m switching from the factory cas to a full function Hall trigger kit. I would assume the signal wire would go to trigger 1 (pin 8), and the ground would go to shielded ground (pin 7) (Both in the same shielded casing) my question is for the power wire. Would I use the ecu power wire (pin 5) to power the sensor? Full function says 8-12v power. Would like to get this right the first time!
Any insight would be great!

They use a Littelfuse 55505 sensor, which has a rated operating voltage of 4.75-25V, so you can use either 12V from Pin 5/Ign sw, or you can use 5V from pin 32.  Im not sure why FFE suggest 8-12V, but I've definitely had them running fine on 5V before.

A note about the wire colours in the trigger 1 shielded cable since they are a bit unconventional - white is ground and black is trigger 1 signal.
