GARDRB Posted April 1 Report Share Posted April 1 Long time listener first time caller... I have a 1uzfe that I have almost finished wiring into my Ke70 using the factory loom and ECU. I have noticed that the JZX100 and the Series 8 RX7 use the same 100pin ECU header. If I were to buy a JZXLink would I be able to use it with my 1uzfe? My understanding is that the top board in the plug in ECU is essentially a G4X Xtreme and the bottom board is an adapter to the ECU header? I assume I would need to repin some of the ecu connectors and I see that I can use expansion looms to add functionality. Are all 100pins from the header connected to the ECU? Adamw Posted April 2 Report Share Posted April 2 The complete pinout is in the back of the manual here: http://linkecu.com/documentation/JZX100X.pdf Pins labelled NC have nothing connected. By the looks the JZX100 ecu doesnt have Ign 7 available so you would have to run wasted spark, otherwise it looks like it would have enough IO to run it well.
