Brad Allen
During the first few mins of operation, the ethanol sensor doesn't appear to be reading % accurately. Â After a few mins of idling or even faster if driving, it reads as it should. Â Any thoughts on why it isn't dialing in quicker on start up? Simon
That is odd and not something we have seen in our testing. One issue I have heard of is if there are air bubbles in the system they can effect the reading.
Brad Allen
Thanks Simon. Â I also noticed that the temperature is reading at 132 C constantly. Â Is it possible that this was wired up incorrectly? Â If that was the case, i'd imagine the % reading wouldn't work ever, which isn't the case. Â Any way i can quickly check this? Simon
Hi Brad I would have thought the wiring would only work one way. It would be a go or no go situation. You could use an oscilloscope to check the frequency and duty cycle is changing with temp and %
Kelly Gordon
Depending on the settings for edge triggering and the pull up resistor can effect how the sensor reads.
