Simon
I would go with the PC Link on this one. As this RPM is what the ECU will be working off for all your fuel and ignition calculations. Simon
Tim1436215452
Ill tune the car using the PC Link readout..... however I wired an Autometer tach in temporarliy and it read the same as my Aim MXL logger. So I have two tachs that read 3-400 rpm different than the rpm indicated on the PC Link screen.. also the logger and tach are taking the Link ecu tach out signal From being familiar with this engine, Im tending to believe the Aim rpm rather than PC Link....Link indicated idle is 1400 rpm, Aim indicated is 1000 rpm... the engine sounds like it is running at 1000...not 1400
Simon
Some questions for you. What is the ECU fitted to engine wise? Also do you have a scope? If so we can get you to check a few things.
Tim1436215452
The Link controls a Porsche flat 6, I have the injectors batch firing for now, and the ignition is wasted spark. The engine run fine from idle to its redline of 7500 (or 7800?) Yes I have a scope
Simon
Ok can you mesure the frequency of the tacho output from the ECU and the RPM readings of the AIM and the PCLink. Simon
