Ashton Kennard
Have recently acquired a cheap and unused link plus v14 for my rb25det silvia and have since bought a Bosch 0 280 130 085 air temp sensor to use with it. BUT after reading through the v14 manual it says to mount the temp sensor in the airbox (or equivalent) so it measures AMBIENT air temp as opposed to the G2 & G3's where it says in the intercooler piping on cold side close to butterfly so it meters INTAKE air temp. Where should I mount this sensor? Thanks, Ashton
Simon
For the G1's in the air box is fine. Simon
daniel calderwood
does it matter if you have it on the ic piping next to the butter fly as thats where i have just put mine.
Simon
In G1s the correction for air temp isn't that fine of an adjustment so any place in the intake will work ok.
