Jeremy Towers
Hi I have a Holden L76/LS2 motor which has been running VERY successfully with a Link G4 Xtreme. The engine runs a 58 tooth crank wheel and 4x cam sprocket. It is also set up for sequential injection. I am just in the process of changing the cam and timing set. Unfortunately the new timing set has an old style 1x (50/50) cam sprocket . My question is can I possibly reconfigure the Link's triggering to run with the 1x cam sprocket instead of the 4x sprocket? and still run sequential injection? Thanks, Jeremy
Dtech Motorsport
simple answer is yes change trigger mode to multitooth/missing tooth count will be 60-2 set trig two as cam level set trigger offset and you should be good to go Regards Dave [email protected]
Jeremy Towers
That's great news, thanks Dave Any idea what the trigger offset should be for the LS2? Link? Jeremy
Simon
It will depend on where the gap is relative to TDC on compression #
Jeremy Towers
I think it might be 78 degrees, but my timing light will answer that. Thanks
