Phram1 Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 I have just had a g4+ extreme installed and am becoming familiar with the software. I have a PLX wideband installed and when dyno tuning found that the PLX gauge is ( + - 0.1) to the dyno used with a new 02 sensor; However, when comparing the PLX gauge with the G4+ guage, the G4+ is about (+ 0.3 to 0.4 higher). To be clear, when the PLX gauge shows 14.3 AFR  the G4+ says 14.6 to 14.7, generally. I would conclude that the engine is running a little rich if it is following the AFR target table. Your thoughts and solutions on this would be appreciated. I look forward to your reply. Best regards, David Quote
Simon Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 Sounds like a slight scaling issue or a slight difference in ground potential. You can adjust the scaling using a custom cal. I would only do this after having check all the grounds are at the same potential. Quote
