The short answer is no.

To get sequential you need some sort of reference so the ECU knows what TDC it is on.

This is normally done with a second sensor.

In this case fitting a crank sensor and modifying the existing trigger would be the best option.

Having a crank trigger will also give better timing stability.

To do multi tooth missing you will need more teeth that what you currently have. (needs to be ideally at least 2 times the number of firing events)

If you did make a disc with say 16 teeth and then removed one. That would work.
