interprodave Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Hi , I am new top this forum and wondered if anyone has experienced high idle on G4+ plug and play on a Toyota Celica Carlos Sainz which is using the st205 system when the AC is switched on .The AC idle step is set to zero but the idle lifts to nearly 2000 rpm when the AC is switched on Thanks Dave Quote
Simon Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Hi DaveFirst are to look at will be what the Idle duty cycle is doing.Given you have the AC step at 0 the duty cycle should stay consistent and not increase when the clutch turns on.If you find that the duty cycle does increase we will need to get your map to try on the bench. If however it stays the same or even drops a bit as it tries to pull the idle back then we need to look for other sources of air getting into the engine. Quote
