Simon
Try moving your timing offset by 360.You could be firing on the exhaust stroke. Edited September 1, 2015 by Simon
JMP
With my vvti 2jz running yaris coils direct fire I ran with the Trigger mode set to Toyota 1JZ V VTi, in the calibrate screen I had the trigger offset as 205degThe Trigger 2 vvti offset was 170 ATDC
zilvia444
HelloThank you all for your repliesThe engine started today after correcting the firing orderThe coiills where set in the wrong order. My badBut the engine sound like a lawn mower ? The firirng order is set in the following order:1 5 3 6 2 4 coil 1 to spark 1. coil 2 to spark 5. coil 3 to spark 3 . coil 4 to spark 6 . coil 5 to spark 2 and 6 to spark 4 Same wiring for the injectorsIll upload my file Thank you in advance
JMP
you've got the coils wired incorrectly. Wire them:IGN1 to Coil 1IGN2 to Coil 2IGN3 to Coil 3 IGN4 to coil 4IGN5 to Coil 5IGN6 to coil 6Your firing order table is correctfrom the help file:When wiring an ignition system using direct spark, the firing order of the engine is not important as it will be entered into the ECU via Vi-PEC Tuning Software Tuning Software.Ignition Drive 1 must be wired to cylinder 1 coil, Ignition Drive 2 to cylinder 2, 3 to 3, etc.Same goes for the injectors:The firing order of the engine is NOT important at the wiring stage as the firing order will be entered into the ECU via Vi-PEC Tuning Software Tuning Software. Wire each cylinder to its corresponding injector drive number (wire cylinder 1 injector to injector drive 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 etc...).Set the 'Injection Mode' to 'Sequential' when using this configuration. Dave Kriedeman
Hi zilvia444,You need to terminate the ignition and injector outputs as 1 to cyl 1, 2 to cyl 2, 3 to cyl 3, 4 to cyl 4, 5 to cyl 5, 6 to cyl 6 etc. Then the firing order should be set as 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4,If you have wired the outputs as 1 to cyl 1 , 2 to cyl 5, 3 to cyl 3, 4 to cyl 6, 5 to cyl 2, 6 to cyl 4Then the software firing order will be set as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.Please remove the sparkplugs and disconnect the Trigger 1 or set the fuel master to 0.Crank the engine to get rid of any raw fuel sitting on the pistons, also the sparkplugs are best replaced or at least cleaned, before trying to start again. With the firing order being incorrect there will be wet sparkplugs.RegardsDave. Dave Kriedeman
Hi zilvia44,firstly you have two faults with your setup. One is the Engine Coolant Temp sensor at 5 volts. The other is the TPS at o volts or shorted to ground. Both of these errors need to be rectified, especially the ECT as your rev limiters are based off ECTYour Fuel and Ignition tables are also altered via the ECT trim tables etc.The TPS needs the 0 volt issue rectified and you then must carry out a TPS calibration.Your ignition main tables has very strange settings in the high vacuum areas.I have modified your ignition table to a more respectable base table. Please rectify these issues and remove and clean the plugs.Download my file to your ECU and see how you go.RegardsDave. zilvia444_ Dave_1.pclr

JMP
In your map, the trigger mode is set to a 4cyl 2nz... You need to change that to 'Toyota 1JZ V VTi', then set the trigger offset to 205deg in the calibrate pageThe Trigger 2 vvti offset needs to be set to 170 ATDC
