1BADGTS Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Hi,Can anyone help point me in the right direction for setting up an AEM 30-2130-50 3.5 bar map sensor on a V88p for a 7mgte MKIII Supra?? The sensor starts at 0.5v reading -14.7 PSIa and goes to 4.5v reading 35.3 PSIa. I am using CAL 4 and I converted all the numbers to kPa, but the INPUT A will not take the negative kPa value because it is below -50 (-101kPa). Can I change the min/max values for CAL4? I'm sure it is something very simple that I am missing or not doing correctly. This is my first go at tackling Vi-PEC V88p install, setup and tune. The wiring has gone pretty smoothly, but now I'm up to the point of dialing all my sensors in and getting the initial setup in the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I have attached a copy of my .pcl file THANKS!! Jays Supra MKIII.pcl Quote
Simon Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 The CAL needs to be in absolute so that 0kpa is 100% vacuum 100kpa is atmosphere and 200kpa is 1 bar of boost (~15psi) Quote
1BADGTS Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 Ok, so I need to make the INPUT A=0.5v & OUTPUT A=0kPa since that is the lowest the sensor will go and then change INPUT B=4.5v and OUTPUT B=450kPa since that is the highest the sensor will go, correct?? Quote
