Ducie54 Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Since link does not make the knock block anymore it would be nice to have a audio output plug on the ecu to listen for knock using headphones. Quote
Dave Kriedeman Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi Ducie54,very cool idea.RegardsDave. Quote
mapper Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 Good idea, that would save some time, sice it wouldn't be necessary anymore to install a second knock sensor to verified knock with a external audio device. Wouldn't be possible to just plugin earphones to the PC? Quote
duweeee Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Anything that will allow us to monitor Knock pleaseeeeeee! Quote
Dave Kriedeman Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Hi all,the earphone jack is a great idea.Besides that however for those who have on-board knock control have this feature set up correctly and the engine is tuned correctly you can setup an AUX O/P to activate if knock occurs. This could be in the form of an LED or form of Audible Buzzer etc.The KNOCK FEATURE should be set up when tuned so that the worry of knock shouldn't be of concern.Engine Knocks, Knock control retards the timing, activates AUX O/P so you are aware that there has been a knock event, let the ECU do what it is designed to do.You have purchased a great ECU, use and trust it's many abilities.RegardsDave.
