Jose Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 Hello,I've been looking at the OBD2 wiring on the help file. I've seen that the OBD2 ground pins (4 and 5) are wired to signal ground. It is possible to use the pin 1 (ground) on the comms connector for grounding the OBD2 device instead of ECU signal ground? Thanks in advance. Quote
Simon Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 It would be better to not due to the current required. As these grounds will power whatever device is connected. The current could be too high for the small pin and wires in the COM connector. Quote
