MY99 Wont start

My MY99 Subaru WRX -which I have owned since new failed to start this morning.

I have had a Possum Link in the car for about 15 years and it or the car  has never let me down.

My battery is new 2 weeks and a full tank of Ultimate 98  - It turns over strongly , but no hint of firing .

Yesterday was fine.

Unfortunately my tuning controller no longer displays so I can't even check for error codes.

Any suggestions  would be welcome.

No response , but I have fixed it by this procedure.

Remove Link ECU

Reinstall OEM ECU and AFM

Crank - Engine fired

Put back Link and remove AFM.

Crank - Engine fired 

All back to normal.
