aVL1D
Now they are something really exciting has happened to the car.According to the ECU log to have my car had 65535 RPM, yes it is 65535 RPM.I have no idea what they might be wrong. The car begins to misfire at about 3500 RPM and that's when it happened.I run without CAS but with Trigger. 60 -2 trigger wheel mounted on the crankshaft.Anyone have an idea of what they might be wrong. I have attach the ECU log on when it happened.Log 12-12-00 12;16;54 am.llg Edited August 7, 2016 by aVL1D
Ducie54
Looking at the log the trigger 1 error jumps when the rpm spikes. Is it a factory harness? How do you have the sensors mounted and configured? Also can you post a trigger scope image.
Adamw
Yes you have a trigger issue. Unfortunately the G4 range doesn't have the trigger scope function so Ducie54's suggestion is in jest but I agree a scope of the trigger would be really helpful if you know anyone with an oscilloscope...One possibility is the polarity of crank sensor is reversed (assuming its a VR sensor). So how did you initially determine the correct polarity?Provided you have ascertained that polarity is correct then you could try increasing the trigger filter level a little. If that doesn't help then you really need to get a scope on it to see what's wrong with the wave form (I would expect your dealer should have a scope). aVL1D
Well this is how it's done. And then I have to find someone with a scope
Adamw
aVL1D, do you know what engine the crank sensor is from? Maybe a part #? Is it originally off a 60-2 trigger - the sensor pole piece looks bigger than your tooth size?
aVL1D
Got it up and running today Changed the wires from the crank sensor, and then it worked
