Ryan v8bmwdrift
hi guys so i have recently set up a storm on my ls v8 , im having a few problems with the isc its wired one coil to 5/6aux and other to 7/8 . Polarity is correct. It seems that it holds continuous voltage on the output when operating cousing the isc valve to get warm , it does this both ways . Evan when i comand say half way it holds the voltage (12v) What have i done wrong something in programing i hope ?
Scott
Hi Ryan,Are you measuring the voltage with a multi-meter? The ECU controls the ISC stepper motor by adjusting the on vs off time of the pulses applied (duty cycle). A multimeter will not accurately show what is happening. If you are using a firmware version older than 5.6.2 I recommend upgrading to the latest version off our website and it contains a fix to do with ISC stepper motor control.http://www.linkecu.com/software-support/pc-link-downloads/Scott
