Viktorekholm
HiI have a the Link g1 LEM3 ecu that i want to map, but the problem is that i can not get the ecu to connect with the computer. I dont really know if i have the right firmware. I downloaded the LEM V4, LEM V5, LinkPlus V10, LinkPlus V14. When im in the PC link program and tries to connect the ecu does it pop up this: Unable to connect the Link ECU.
Simon
If the chip in the ECU has D42V3 firmware then it is only able to be tuned via hand control. Only D42V4 and D42V5 versions are able to be PC tuned.
Viktorekholm
Thanks, I had the D42V3 chip. Can i change the chip to a V4 or V5? Edited March 8, 2017 by Viktorekholm
Simon
We do offer an upgrade to V5 if you wish. But it would be the point to really consider moving to something modern the G4+Atom is a massive step up from that unit. For pricing have a chat to the sales team for the upgrade or a local dealer.
