Hellafabrication
Are there any perceivable advantages in matching the throttle motor on the engine to the accelerator pedal in the cabin? Right now I have a Dodge VDO throttle body on my 1jz VVTi and need to purchase an accelerator pedal unit with the position sensor. I am considering an accelerator unit from a Nissan 350z. Steve
As in using the same "pair" of throttle body and pedal as found in different cars? No. You can use whatever you like. Makes no difference.

Hellafabrication
My go to pedal is the 04-05 Subaru sti pedal. Can be had on ebay for about $40.Thanks Brad, great suggestion. I looked them up and they look great from a packaging perspective and nice looking with the metal cover. I ordered one of these on ebay for $17 from an auto recycler. What do you do for a pigtail? I also ordered the 350z pedal unit ($25) being that I know others have done a retrofit in my chassis with them previously, so I have options that way. Hellafabrication
My go to pedal is the 04-05 Subaru sti pedal. Can be had on ebay for about $40.Brad, The LINK help file doesn't appear to have the Subaru pedal pin output. Do you have a wiring diagram for this accelerator position sensor? EDIT: I ended up with a 2008-2014 pedal unit. my mistake in reading last night but it still looks like it should work great.
