jaitch
On my ViPEC pnp, Mitsubishi GTO, I have no ISC so I wanted to use Aux 6 as a GP highside driver for a relay. Relay resistance is 73 ohms, which I assumed met the requirements for low load. However, on activation, Aux 6 pin does produce 13 V but the relay would not operate. I did try a couple of relays with the same result. I ended up having to mess around with wiring and use a low side driver which does work. Can anyone just put my mind at rest and tell me why it didn't work with the high side driver? I am thinking something to do with coil inductance? Simon
The hardware for high side driving is not fitted on the plugin units as none used this on factory applications that we have a plugin for.
