BMW EWS SYSTEM

Does this need deleted when going standalone with Link G4+ Fury or does it not even come into play as the signal is not returned from ECU in OEM situation as long as the key signals to the EWS system all should work ok and not cut power to the ECU?

Anyone got any experience?

As far as we are aware the system would still stop the starter from operating but the ECU part of stopping the injection and ignition would be bypassed.

If you were to set up a Di as an anti theft input then this could be implemented also.

So the DI setup would be the news signal from ews to ecu which in turn would make a complete link and the starter will function?

What i can see the only two and from signal is the transponder to ews and back so if this is still present the starter should still fire?
