This uses the Vipec Digital Knock amplifier along with high quality noise cancelling head phones. Other knock detection kits just amplify engine noise. This filters out most of the engine noise and amplifies knock. If makes detecting knock very easy, and leaves you in no doubt it is knock you are hearing.
