Smifee Posted February 17, 2018 Report Posted February 17, 2018 Just going threw set-up of triggers and the crank is firing on no1 cylinder at about 10 degree after top dead centre not before.. Is it usual for this much difference and to have to set the ignition for this much.. Have just removed the gearbox to confirm allignment of the flywheel and thats correct... Adamw Posted February 18, 2018 Report Posted February 18, 2018 That sounds like a bit more error than I would typically expect on a stock engine that has a flywheel trigger but it is not likely a problem. Just set the trigger offset and make sure the timing is steady over a range of rpm and provided it is then you are good to go. Quote
