To answer your question, you dont need to send a new calibration - just change the trigger settings and they update in real time. If you are not seeing RPM it could be your trigger 2 sync mode setting. If you have a cam sensor then it should be set like bsh's example above, if you dont have a cam sensor then sync mode should be set to none. If your ECU has the triggerscope function please do a triggerscope while cranking and attach a copy here.
