  1. If you connect with out trying to load a map does the PC link remain connected with out any errors? Have existing errors been cleared?
  2. Hi Try this map it all looks good when running it up on the bench.
  3. What you have is a G1 LEM It is running V5e firmware. (latest for this model) It was put together in 07/04/2006 Reluctor sub-board will suit reluctance style trigger pickups with one pulse for each firing event.
  4. Our software will only work with our ECU's There is no ability to log direct form external devices without running first to our ECU.
  5. If you have a copy of your map before the upgrade we should be able to sort this for you. Failing that you will need to go through all settings and check they are correct for your application
  6. Hi Chances are that the unit you have there will actually be pre PC tuning. Need to check the software id on the sticker on the main micro. The Software can be found here http://www.linkecu.com/support/downloads/pclink-download/PCLinkV25 Any of our dealers should be able to sort you out the serial link and cable.
  7. Hi Albert Would be great if you could send through your PCL file to our tech address. we can then check the configuration.
  8. Hi Karl You are correct with your thoughts on how it should be wired. The drawing is geared towards G2 onwards ecu's these you enter in the firing order and sync location. On the G1s the installer had to figure it out with wiring. If you set it so that IG1 does cylinders 3 and 4. Ig2 does 1 and 2 you will be all set.
  9. You will need to connect the ECU to the PC and get the basic set up sorted. You will need to configure all the outputs and inputs. Triggering information will also have to be configured in the ECU. For this application you will need to make sure the triggers are set to opto/hall Assuming this is a V8 you will also need to make sure the trigger disk has a tooth for every TDC (8 teeth)
  10. If you have you RPM lockout just slightly higher than the RPM you are getting errors then you will be fine. This is assuming your errors are at say below 2000rpm and not at the top end of the rpm range.
  11. Its been a long road and a well travelled ECU. But glad to hear that it is now finally doing as it should. Well done and thank you for your patience Simon
  12. Sync / cyl ratio will need changing to 6. Other than that it all looks good. Even the triggers look really clean. Change the ratio and let me know how the error count looks.
  13. For two or 3 wire solenoids the board for the 6T stepper should be removed. With this removed the 3 wire ISC should perform as expected.
  14. With the triggers swapped are we seeing an engine RPM of around 200-250 at cranking speed as well as no errors?

Check the fuel pump is actually running. Also check all inputs to the ECU main ones being TPS and MAP. Also make sure the injectors are correctly ballasted. If they are high impedance then make sure there is no ballast. When you say fuel setting I assume you are talking about master fuel?

    6 Row Tuning

The values apply to the centre of the zone. The further you move away from the zone centre the more effect the surrounding zones have.
  17. Hi I have loaded your file in to our test ECU. I can confirm that there is an issue with the virtual AUX 1. And we will work to find a solution for this shortly. In the mean time Virtual aux 2 and 3 are functioning correctly. The overrun fuel cut is working on the bench fine on firmware version 4.6.9 (current release)
  18. Looking at the log I would say the first spike could well be knock. The noise towards the end of the run I suspect is not.
  19. I think we have exhausted testing options on the bench. Will get ECU back to you and will have to look at signals on the car.
  20. That would do the trick but main idea was to get factory one up and running.
  21. Yep the ignition signal wires. Catch is that this will be a low level signal and you have no way of getting to the coil negative signal.
  22. You are correct. You will need to connect with the PC and go to the logging menu and delete all logs.
  23. I would suggest that using a KnockBlock with a very good set of headphones is the best tuning tool. Tuners are raving about this product and how good it is. It will amplify the engine noise so that you can detect even the slightest knock. I do stress the need for top quality headphones as these really make the difference.
