I agree with Cam's comment that we are missing the ability to do traction disable by a virtual aux at present but you can still do want you want if you have a spare aux/ign/inj output available:
You set the aux to GP Output, set its conditions up so it goes true whenever your "AEM pot" is in the "0" position (most likely my example below would do it).  You connect this aux output wire to your "traction disable" DI so it will then disable TC whenever AEM knob is in position 0.

AEM just got one out in the $300 dollars price range... is calle Vehicle Dynamics module PN: 30-2203
    3 Axis Accelerometer
    3 Axis Gyroscope
    5Hz GPS/Glonaass
    Can 2.0 Output
The good thing about this is: AEM published its AEMnet CAN protocol, The VDM may work with 3rd party programmable engine management system and data loggers....

    Hi Jose,
Thanks for posting this. I've just had a quick look at the datasheet (http://aemelectronics.com/files/instructions/10-2203.pdf) and AEM have indeed made the CAN data layout available. There would be some work required on the ECU/PCLink end to make everything work.

AXA reacted to Scott in i88 to IQ3 Data Incorrect
    Hi Jose,
Let us know how the IQ3 goes with the i88.
The traction control requires a driven and non-driven wheel speed source. Your RX7 more than likely has a driven wheel speed source from the gearbox speed sensor. The non-driven wheel speed source is going to be connected to one of the ECU's Digital Input channels, these channels can accept an input frequency of 500 Hz maximum, so this means the number of teeth your non-driven wheel speed sensor sees is going to have to be fairly low.
    500Hz / 12 teeth = 41.67 wheel revolutions per second
If your wheel has a diameter of 0.65m you have a circumference of 2.10m, so you can do up to 87.5 meters per second (41.67*2.10), which is 315 km/h
24 teeth would halve the max km/h but give better resolution.
I'm unsure where the best place to mount the sensor and wheel are going to be, this is going to depend on where you can physically fit it. Was there a later ABS sensor mount that would fit your car?

AXA reacted in Subaru stock shortblock world records broken.
If you're going to break the record for quickest and fastest on a stock shortblock, proper engine management is going to be key. I have a V88 in my car. Prior to Sunday, the Subaru world record for any stock Subaru shortblock was 10.49 at 129 miles per hour. Sunday I took the wing and splitter off my road course car (96 Impreza), put some drag tires on and went to the drag strip for opening day. I ran a 9.9 at 139 on a totally stock STI shortblock on a shoddy pass at 22-24 psi with a few spikes over that. I'm guessing this is mid to upper 5XX wheel HP. It made 521 with 21 psi on my dyno. This was on pump E85 that I stored from last fall, no ice in my cooler, no flat shifting and I run a stock 2006 Subaru STI tranny/transfer case so I have to row 5 gears to make a 1/4 mile pass. Nobody can say you can't run a 9 second pass with a stock Subaru shortblock any more.

Cheap, small eBay intercooler limit the power output. Should have seen 4-digit number with a proper cooler.

    Hi all,
I just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive and slowly getting better after major surgery.
Hopefully another couple of weeks and I will be able to get back to one of my very favourite past times, helping out with tech support where ever I can.
I honestly miss this aspect of my life and has been a huge part of my life for so many years.
I miss all the fantastic crew at LINK and can't wait to get back to business as usual.
    Take care everyone.
    Talk soon,
    Regards
    Dave.
