  1. And have you, maybe accidentaly encrypted the file ? If so maybe you entered your serial wrong
  2. Is the file from the same ecu, or is it from another ecu?

    Wiring

If your engine relay is Ignition switched, then it wil switch open anyway, if you turn of the ignition, so i think there is something not wired up as it should. What you also can do: Take an ignition switched power to terminal 85 of your engine relay, and connect terminal 86 permanently to chassis ground.

Just use the standard relay, and let the link ecu switch it as an gp output, who’s always on, when the ecu is on just make shure the pin 30 of the engine relay is a ignition switched power because aux outputs go to ground when ecu isn’t powered up

    Slow cranking

Has the engine been modified or only rebuild ? because if anything compressionrelated is changed, it could happen that the car cranks with lower speeds
  6. There’s a realy good topic in the help file on what to check before first attempt to start

    13b no injector pulse

Do you gave a pcl file? Maybe some settings are Wrong
  8. You work to much with DTA my friend :-p Some ecu's have this, like for example dta, but i don't see the logic behind switching off interpolation, because if it's off, and you're not in the middle of a cell, then your numbers won't be correct. I always work ahead, let's say calibrating the 3000 rpm row, copy it to 3500 and 4000, add some %, and then i calibrate the 3500 rpm row and so on. And try to be as centered in the cell as possible. If you check the mixtures if you've calibrated the whole map, it's spot on. With the interpolation off method i've seen some fluctuations before ... Just as the pot box, don't like that thing, i always use the keyboard, because, in my opinion, or maybe it's my handling, but i found it's much quicker entering some % change related to target and average AFR, then try to get the mixture spot on with the dails. It's good tough to make a rough base map, before let's say cam tuning

    ALS not working

Are you sure you want ALS and nit launch control with 2 step? Because the ALS won't help with not limiting the car to 3000 rpm with the switch active
  10. i'm having the following problem: i do lock my maps, but, i want to activate the logging because if there goes something wrong, you can look what happened. if the ecu is not locked, they can change some things acidently to the map or delete the engine statistics so you're not able to see if they overrevved or if the car had a to high ect and so on. When you put a password on the ecu, the ecu's internal logging does not start...
  11. Hello I've done the same engine with the same ecu curently. Base settings are in the help file, this should get you started... Just don't forget to remove the diodes at the VANOS Unit
  12. Did a cam angle test and found that the cam offset from the exhaust have to be 3.6 and inlet 100 degrees, changed this and everything works now!
  13. I would suggest, if you don't know the correct parameters for the injectors to use traditional equation mode. Have you already tried to change the master fuel ?
  14. Hello I'm currently installing a Link Fury ECU to a BMW S54 engine with double vanos. The car is up and running, but i keep getting trigger errors at the exhaust cam sensor, that is connected to trigger 2. In runtime values, trigger 2 Is green and OK. Trigger scope seems ok, even when errors are counting up at the vvt screen. I get following faults: 3rd cam tooth and error sync. In the trigger scope you can nicely count 7 tooth and 1 gap, as you can see on the exhaust cam trigger wheel.... Anyone experience with this? I've also seen that the inlet cam can't move lower then 13-14 degrees
  15. Car runs, thank you for the help!!
  16. Damn good memory you, i've checked the file and indeed the trigger 2 option is active. Don't know how i've overlooked it, i know i've checked trigger 2 vvt but this one was turned off. Tomorow i'll check if it's fixed now. Have you seen my e-mail concerned to mapping the secondary extra table?
  17. This weeks job is to but a g4 fury ecu to a lotus esprit turbo. Everything is working fine and ready to calibrate the ignition timing, but i do not get rpm signal, while when starting trigger signal turns green... trigger scope looks ok to, someone have a clue whats wrong?
  18. So let's say, you save the initial locked map, you reset the ecu and map it again. But customer does like the initial tune the most, then you can put it back in the ecu an it will work as before ?
  19. Is it possible to save a locked ecu map, and restore the ecu to factory settings. But if necessary to reload the lovked map back in the ecu?
  20. @Scott or @Simon, do you already have a demo sound file of the new knockblock ?
  21. Have you found something yet ?
  22. in that instance, it shouldn't be necessary to extend the cables. do you have a demo audio file of the new unit ?
  23. Hello, concerned to the hpa courses. I've folowed the dyno and road tuning course, i've followed the link g4+ course to. Is this enough to prove your knowledge to become a link dealer?
  24. Also intrested in the lenght of the loom Do you have a recorded file of the new knockblock unit ?
