Rossogy Posted June 23, 2020 Report Share Posted June 23, 2020 Hi guys, Currently making my loom to run my 2JZGE+T VVTi with G4+ Xtreme and i have a couple of questions. When wiring up the VVTi Solenoid will i need a flyback diode? and does anyone know the correct pinout? Does anyone know the correct pin on the cam & crank for signal? Adamw Posted June 23, 2020 Report Share Posted June 23, 2020 No flyback diodes needed for the VVT or boost valve, they are built in to the ecu. You dont need a pinout for a solenoid, connect one wire to ign switched +12V and the other to the ecu Aux. I dont have a pinout for the cam or crank sensor sorry. If they look similar you could try the 1UZ pinout from the help file. Otherwise, if you cant find that info, just take a guess and we can check with the triggerscope later.
