  1. Pete now i have seen how Adam had done this (thanks Adam), there is no reason why you cant just use another GP output to activate the dual tables, and and can set the axis on the ALS override to change initial throttle percentage. I did put in a wishlist post for an additional table AL ICS override in dual tables to give an extra full throttle override table :)

  2. Certainly will be putting a EGT sensor on, so i can see what's it doing before i enable, no point just turning on and watching the motor melt down.....

my quick test in the driveway yesterday 30deg atdc and only 5% fuel and 15% throttle it was certainly producing boost !!!!

Personally I would be looking at what the off throttle boost level is, vs what "looks" like happening. The STi barely pops and bangs when I'm up it.

How much "drive" are you getting under brakes?

At the moment there is no boost off throttle, and no pops at all, so no drive under brakes.

  4. I have finally got my rally car to the point where i can focus on trying to get the antilag working properly with the DBW throttle, but for the life of me it cant actually make the antilag work at all, all the setting look like it should be where they should and should be a mild amount. I was told by a few people on the weekend it is most certainly not working at all. I would have though 8% throttle opening would have been plenty of air for even a low amount ? log from testing and map attached. any help appreciated. Edit:car now has a pedal box so not worried about no vacuum.

Well, that's turned on for the 30 second cooldown sequence, but now I'm thinking.....

Ghost cam with rotational idle... hmm

Yes but you don't have to set it for time period, just set to turn on when AL armed.

  6. This might need to be in the wish list, is it possible to add an additional full AL ICS override table in the future ?

the dual tables option only has ign/fuel trim/cut tables, would also be good to have another AL ICS override table in there as well so it can have 2 throttle maps for more or less antilag air bypass

i know i can have a table setup and change engine speed to a switch or dial, but that wont give the RPM control.

    Thanks Beth.

  7. No issues here with just a 3port grimmspeed (mac) valve. It did need a final tune on the closed loop PID on gravel away from the dyno, which AdamW helped finetune last year been rocksolid since install. (Also moved away from old autronic)

I run the knock sensor installed but not doing any limiting just as a guide. So I can look at the log and monitor between events.

I'll let you know how the DBW throttle goes with the ALS in 2 weeks, still haven't had a chance to try in anger as rally's keep being canned, only tested on the road so far to get it setup, but looks promising so far, all the advantages Adam mentioned

I have wideband control only on very low rpm/load again more just monitoring between events. It's great having large memory to just log everything on stage, sensor is not close to turbo, I think I have been lucky so far..

  8. DI4, with the 260 calibration seemed to be pretty accurate at least a good starting point for speed, then as per Adam set it up as driving wheel source,

then use Gear Ratio Calc runtime value as per the instructions in help file to set up the gear ratio table.

I havnt played around with the new DI frequency filter yet but if it does what i think it does should provide some stability as the signal does bounce around a bit and easier to use then setting up a math block.

  9. @Vaughan confirmed all good and fixed, bleeding air nicely :D

i am still not happy with my throttle PID, too low P and a little laggy, to high and too much bounce.... i know i am being picky, i might send my spare new throttle across the ditch to see if Link team can get the optimal settings for these 60mm mitsubishi throttle bodies.

  10. thanks Adam too easy, i wasnt sure where the AIM was getting the 4 ecu speeds from and i had previously just had the gearbox signal DI4 assigned to LF.

Sadly no actual wheel sensors in an Evo 6 RS :(

  11. On todays episode of lockdown boredom I have broken my CAN ecu speed channel to the link display.

I had implemented this idea in the math channel thread to smooth out the speed output so it bounced around a little less on the display, while works well in the logs it seem to have killed the CAN speed output.

i dont know anything about CAN to get that channel working again

    thanks

    Beth.

Have found and fixed the problem will be in the next release which is very soon

Thanks @Vaughan was there a linear issue with the al ics map as well ? As it looked like it was selecting just the cell value for the target and not smothing out in-between the value.

    Beth.

  13. Hi @Vaughan got a chance to try with your setup suggestion today,

however not sure i am missing something still, when AL went active the TPS target went to 10% and then did an odd TPS target step down off throttle.  i cant see anywhere in the map to command that 10% throttle blip ?

    Logs and config attached,

    thanks

    Beth.

  14. Thanks @VaughanI found that out on my drive around the block, luckily no one was behind me when the throttle went to 0. So with isc override disabled does Antilag use just use the active e-throttle map ? Or is there another map I am missing somewhere ? I had set to swap maps with my antilag arm switch to e-throttle target 2.

    Thanks

    Beth.

  15. Thanks @Adamw for your e throttle help, its working like a charm so far :D

i am now converting the antilag settings from the stepper which in reality wasnt bleeding that much air to use the e-throttle to bleed air. All my ALS trim/cut tables are set to kick in above 4000rpm and 20% throttle and below.

is the following throttle map the best way to avoid having 20% throttle all the time and to bleed air only when the ALS tables are doing ign trim & cut / fuel trim ?

AL ICS override table is set to 0

    Thanks

    Beth.
