  1. @Adamw Sorry for bugging you again! So I got it up and running and was just playing around trying to get it to idle decent for now. I do not have an idle stepper installed anymore, but I got it to idle somewhat smooth at around 1000rpm. The only thing is the VE numbers in my fuel table to get 1.0 Lambda were around 85. Does this seem too high to you? I attached my tune file for my setup and hopefully a log of it running (unsure if I set the logging up right) if you’re not too busy if you wouldn’t mind taking a look and seeing if things look correct to you. Thank you! 1jzvvti SEP Injectors.pclx PC Datalog - 2021-12-19 5_05_54 pm.llgx
  2. @Adamw I see that the Ford data has .1009 for minimum pulse width, and I believe the Chrysler does as well. I assume this would be minimum effective pulse width, but does that value seem low to you? I know from other threads I’ve read, I’ve seen that usually values are closer to like 0.8-1.2.
  3. Thank you! You’re a life saver. I was looking at that info and thought I could possibly use it, but I just wasn’t completely sure if it worked that way. Especially the converting g/s to cc/min, I wasn’t sure how to do that. Thank you!
  4. So I was afraid of this, but I bought some “cheap” injectors and the data they supplied I’m unsure if I can even use. I bought Snake Eater Performance GB SEP/ Bosch 1000cc injectors. Don’t ask my why I didn’t just spend the extra money and just get ID1050 or FIC since they’re reputable and proven, I’m not the brightest sometimes. I’m running them on a 1JZ VVTI with JZX100 PNP. The info they sent is dead times at 58psi fuel pressure, then a bunch of GM data which has some short pulse info, and then Ford and Chrysler info. I was planning on running 43psi(3bar) fuel pressure since my fuel system may not be able to handle the extra base pressure (for now) but they didn’t include info for 3bar. I’m honestly not sure what to input into my Link to even have the data somewhat correct, like min effective PW, deadtimes, and short pulse adder. I mean even what to input for injector flow @ rated pressure I’m unsure of with this data. I was planning on running modeled fuel so this is definitely becoming an issue. Also it could be my lack of knowledge and experience being completely confused by this, but I’d rather someone correct me than me damage my engine. Haha. I’ll include the flow data and spreadsheet “plug and play” data they sent me so maybe someone can help me translate it, or tell me I’m dumb and should just go buy good injectors. Thank you guys! 5. It is a JZX100 plug in, I apologize for not clarifying that. I got the car running on the supplied jzx100 pnp 7bar base map, the lambda is working, except for a code 26 which is probably either me needing to find a better power supply (going to check voltage at lambda when I’m back at the car) or I was looking at the code while cranking which is definitely possible. The can2 errors are no longer there so I’m honestly not sure what changed but it seems to be working now! Thank you for the response and so far I’m loving this forum, reminds me of the old forum days before Facebook started taking over. This is my first experience with a standalone so I’m sure I will have more stupid questions to ask sometime soon.
  6. 1jz VVTi in s13 240sx. I haven’t got the car started yet, still finishing up some wiring/turbo install. My question is, the thwo pin is used by can 2 to send temp values to the dash/ A/C, I assume I won’t be able to use this with the stock s13 cluster, but do I need to terminate the wire so can 2 functions normally? If so how would I do that? I have a can lambda wired in, used a terminating resistor between H and L twisted wires and used a 22uf 35v capacitor between power and ground. On PClink in runtime values it shows multiple can 2 errors and the lambda shows off so I’m trying to make sure I haven’t missed something installing this. I’m away from my car currently and forgot to take a screenshot of the errors, but I can do that later today. Thank you!
  7. Oh that makes sense. I’m not using the factory stepper idle control so I shouldn’t have to worry about that. I will check my wiring and make sure pin 59 (C85 2) isn’t getting power. I will also make sure none of the aux is getting constant as well. As far as the pins not connected to anything (nc), do you think depinning those from the ecu connector would be worth my time to try and simplify my wiring and help troubleshoot?
  8. Thank you! I will definitely have to check and make sure none of those are always live. I’m not sure if ecu hold power is wired correctly to be honest. How would I properly set that up?
  9. This might be a stupid question, but does pin 99 have power to it on the JZX100 ecu? On the pin out it says nc (+14v main relay). NC on the pin outs I assume means no contact or no connection, right? My ecu stays powered on with the key off so I’m just trying to troubleshoot some wiring. My 1JZ I wired into a 1992 Nissan 240sx and it ran perfect on the stock ecu.
