I thought I had gotten over my resentment I felt with my G4+ purchase from NZEFI to find the new gen G4X two months later.
Reading this I am back to gnashing my teeth.Have not been this pissed for a long time.
Having said this I do not have any issues with my G4+, just my head you know.
As M1tch said above, I would also have gone elsewhere. Came from a Vipec To G4+.

Ah, yes, I see what you are saying about the pin numbering. Thanks Adam, busy wiring and will feedback here. Thank you.

Need some help here please. I just can`t get around the hall setup here.
Firstly, does this type of sensor only have one 5v in, which in this case would be USP1 (pin 1)-silly question but I need direction here. Is pin 4 not connected or is it "part" of pin 1 and so also needing a 5v in ? The diagram shows a common 5V in-supply. Measuring the sensor I have a true TPS resistive half but the other part does not measure the same as the first.
Second issue I`m having is the 2.5v output .Do I simply set up the An V in to a range of 0 to 2.5 V ? How would the ECU interpret this vs 2 varying 5 V values ? Do I simply leave the input as a - to 5v in ?

Agree with the bad angle for flow. Changed mine and it made the world of difference.

Cheers bud, better than I could muster...:-)

Thank you Brad, appreciate the info.

Bought a set of DW 1000cc fuel injectors, setting up the modeled fuel equation.
The injectors are tested at 3 bar and test flow is 711cc. What do I input to the ecu
the 711 cc or as advertised at full flow1000cc`s ?Trying to get my head around this all.

Mercedes W202/w210 .DBW pedal sensor with cable
Does any one have the details for the plug connection for this type of sensor please.
I have seen it somewhere, have searched on the forum but have come up empty.
Thanks,

Edit to add: Found what I was looking for-posting here for Forums members .

Thought I would add a very simple and effective way of removing the ecu from the bracket-
Use 2x Stanley blades, the triangular carpet
cutter blades, Sharp edge under the "roll" of the bracket, push inward and "roll" them out.
Pops out like a dream.

Great feedback, thanks guys. We do have working cars I can use.

In over my head a bit here. Can the can stream be customized to wake up an electro hydraulic power steer pump ?
Using a Link g4 Thunder. Can the thunder can be programmed for this ? If so I presume I would need the can protocol for the specific pump I want to use.
Insight here ?
Need to add that this is fitted to a non can vehicle.

I do all my own tuning on my car-this is mostly due to incompetent tjooners around here.If you really have to use someone, Doc`s tuning in Edenvale. Prepare for an ordeal.
-
Did the exact same , went from traditional to modeled, nothing was transferable nor did anything in the main maps-fuel- work.In my case it was starting from scratch besides ign. that I could transfer.
-
Did you take your car to Doc`s for tuning?

Did the same, V88 to Thunder.Made sure wiring was the same-the features that I was using-loaded the Vipec map into Thunder and went driving. Back and forwards compatible.I am now, after 3 months of driving with Thunder,, changing out the harness to take advantage of the upgraded features. Going full modeled fueling so Ill be starting all over.

Following this...none the wiser.

Thank you Sir, meant to reply ages ago but could not log in. Thanks.

Setting up modeled fuel mode-where would the best place be to mount the fuel temp sensor?
I see OE`s like the in tank option, I was more of the opinion of mounting it in the fuel rail or just pre fuel rail-perhaps in the fuel filter housing under the manifold?
Heat soak may be an issue though, any recommendations?? and why?

Dale, contact Doc`s in Edenvale, chap is pretty good but as with all tjooners, you need to sit on his ass. Ill check out your ecu choice and see if I can help.Have run ViPEC V88 and just changed to Link Thunder.
EDIT. Just checked it out, simply a plugg in specific.Programming and setup same as g4+.

All good, know what needs doing, connected power, unlocked and loaded. All good.

For those planning on using the Mercedes AP module, PIN2 also needs 5v in.
