Hi all.
Is there and easy way to boot up the ECU, when it is not in the car? Is it as simple as just providing +12 volts and minus? Wanted to check before doing something wrong.

I use my GP limits for otherthings. Vi-pec just have to deliver what has been promised!

I have to pull about 20 -30 degrees out before it can hold back the power when the wheels first start to slip, exhaust temp rises alot by doing that.. So If I use TC alot I get really high temps. It should cut fuel / ignition.

I dont know If you were here when vi-pec started out? Back when Ray was helping. If there were a problem, it was sorted! It has taken 3 years now. I am generally happy with my ECU, but have been waiting for traction control for 3 years. Promises promises. My solution is that I am building 4x4 on my car! ;-)
I have a person who want to buy my Vi-pec, and It will be sold. My plan was to buy a v88, but if things continue like this I have to select a different brand.

Yes I tried it and I don't like it , plus its not easily changeable and I have uses for both my limiting tables , my rev limit is at 11500 RPms and high boost for me will be at 30 psi so oil and fuel pressure pressure are essential to safe guard my motor.I've also come up with an option , how about YOU guys run a special(special=ViPec subsidized) price group buy on RACELOGIC TC systems ! seems only fair since you did not deliver what was promised three years now :x

Yes we have, as Ray sugested years ago, but works like crap in rain or damp weather! I have a different solution. Why just not deliver what has been promised for three years now? How much "testing" still needs to be done??

3 years is that a long wait? Maybe its because there is politics involved, since it takes THAT long, and it has been full with empty promises. ;-)
I miss the time when Ray was here. When there was something he sorted it ASAP. This is becomming a joke.
I have a person ready to buy my vi-pec, when I am ready, it will be sold and I will use a different brand. I just need to save up some more before I can do this.

Hi all.
I have been building on my car for 9 years now. It was my first car, all std. except for a KN air filter.
My CA18DET engine had 9 different turbo setups, then made a RB25DET swap, and is now running a RB30DET with GT4094r turbo.
Now I am converting the car to 4x4 from a skyline. Parts used for the conversion:
Z32 complete rear-end, with custom Ksport dampers. Changed diff to R32 GTR
R32 GTR gearbox
R33 GTR complete front suspension with custom Ksport dampers.
R32 GTR ATTESA with custom wiring.

Thank you. Worked, and got the firmware updated and map loaded.
Do anyone know why knock control keeps going back to off.
Nothing is connected to the ECU other than plus and minus. Knock window and digital knock feedback is set in software.
