input output change situation

hi,

i want to use link g4+ for my  v6 ej20 my99 impreza but i have questions about it.

 

for example, i removed my v6 idle stepper motor and change to v7 one  then 1 or 2 aux outputs are free. could i use them for another mission? like avcs? or i must buy expansion cable for like this missions? 

 

i didn't use pc link but should i change input/output status without repin? for example my aux 7 and aux 8 are free, can i change to an temp 2 and an temp 3 on pc link program without repin?

You can use VVT (AVCS) on auxs 1 to 4 and vvt sensors on digital inputs 1 to 4, so you might need to move other functions off those pins. 

 

No, you can not reassign inputs to outputs or digital input to an analog input, you will need to repin.  You can however reassign an analog input to a temperature input (you will need to add a pull up resistor as only temp. Inputs have these internally.)

DBW will be dependent on board revision.

AVCS, oil and fuel pressure shouldnt be an issue once you shuffle the I/O around.

Turbo speed will work if you get a frequency divider as it will get higher than the digital input will allow.
