ellisd1984
Has anyone had any ecperience with these units? The power supply states 12v+ and ground and uses a DC barrel plug, What ground should be used for the unit, sensor ground?https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S79VSwt4LsVELBgBW-aCW3dJ9PFssLkT/view
Adamw
It doesnt appear to have a separate analog ground - so its analog output must reference the main power ground. You cant connect this to sensor ground as it is high current and may upset other sensors, so the best option will be to ground the main ground to the engine block or cyl head. ellisd1984
Thanks, My car's earthing is wired as shown in my brilliant diagram attached. Would the best point still be the cylinder head or the point at whch all the grounds come together?
Adamw
The best point is whatever the main ECU ground is connected to, usually this is the engine block somewhere.
ellisd1984
I'll check the wiring diagrams and see where it goes from the ecu
ellisd1984
Loos like The intake manifold is where I need to ground to. Just when I thought I'd finished all my wiring and loomed everything up
