Hadleigh101 Posted September 7, 2020 Report Share Posted September 7, 2020 Im currently getting ready for my first start up on a 1uzfe non vvti running stock ignition with link g4+xtream. i am using the vvti base map provided in pclink. i have changed the base timing to -4 offset and have changed the ignition main to twin distributor is it correct to set the ignition delay to 80us?and spark duration to 1.0ms? i have changed the trigger setup to 1uzfe too. any help or advice would be awesome cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adamw Posted September 7, 2020 Report Share Posted September 7, 2020 The delay you need to check by reving it while the timing is locked and check the timing stays steady. If it drifts 1 or 2 degs then adjust your delay until it doesnt. The spark duration I would set to 1.5ms - I suspect it will never come into play with twin distributors anyway a you should have plenty of cycle time to charge the coil 4 times per cycle.
