I have a 5 tooth trigger wheel (crank mounted). 4 teeth evenly spaced with the 5th tooth at about 60 degrees BTDC. Guest |1012| Posted February 20, 2012 Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 Thanks Simon, We want to be able to run without a distributor and it is not possible to get in to mount a cam sensor (Chev V8) due to water pumps etc. Hence for wasted spark and batch fire I may need to run with a 30-1 or 60-1 crank trigger?? bsh Posted February 20, 2012 Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 Yes you can use 24-1, 30-1, 60-2 etc. All these will work fine. You can also modify the distributor so the sensor only see 1 tooth and use this as a cam sync if you dont want to fabricate a new crank trigger wheel.
